Goldenvoice is proud to announce that Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers, one of America’s great rock ‘n’ roll bands, will perform six intimate concerts at Los Angeles’ Fonda Theatre on June 3, 4, 6, 8, 9 and 11.
Tickets for each Fonda Theatre concert will go on sale on Friday March 22 at 10am Pacific Time. Full ticketing information is below.
The announcement that Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers will perform an extended run of shows in their home town at the renowned LA venue on Hollywood Boulevard comes as the legendary rockers announce a 2013 North American tour of arenas, festivals, amphitheaters, and small theaters.
During the past thirty-seven years Tom and The Heartbreakers have headlined some of worlds largest and most prestigious events including the legendary Isle of Wight Festival in the UK last year and the Super Bowl XLII Halftime show in 2008. This year the band will return to The Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival in Manchester, TN for their second headlining appearance and will also headline Alabama’s Hangout Music Festival and Delaware’s Firefly Music Festival.
Prior to the Fonda Theatre shows Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers will also stage a five night residency at New York City’s historic Beacon Theatre.
Over the years Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers have enjoyed returning to the intimacy of small venues such as their historic twenty show run in 1997 at the Fillmore in San Francisco, their five night stand at Chicago’s Vic Theatre in 2003 and, more recently, two nights in 2011 at the Plaza del Sol Performance Hall at Cal State Northridge to benefit LA local public radio station KCSN.
Tickets for The Fonda Theatre residency will be available at Ticketmaster.com beginning at 10am EST on Friday March 22nd. There will be a strict two ticket limit per person, per show.

Tom Petty has said the Heartbreakers are first a live band. Critics have said they are one of the few great live rock 'n roll bands still playing today. The audience spoke loudest of all in 2010 when Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers' last major North American tour was their most successful, attended by more people than ever before.
